"Neighbourhood Watch is a satire on the divisive hysteria of lockdown.

In a time where the government and the media were both pointing the finger at "the public", I felt like one of the worst ways we could react was by joining them and blaming each other.

But lo and behold, loads of cunts were doing it on Facebook and Twitter.

People were getting harassed and shamed for things like sunbathing or walking their dog, and others were applauding it. I just found it all proper weird.

Anyway, I decided the best course of action was to respond was with a track mocking them. I had fun dreaming up this troupe of Facebook-powered, Hot Fuzz-esque soldiers of fortune, enforcing busy-bodied vigilante justice.
